DIRECTIONS
- Hirschberg test
- Use pen light
- Shine light on the bridge of the nose in same place for each eye
- Reflection of the light needs to be centered/displaced on pupil
- If light is shined on the lateral side of the pupil the eye will deviate inward (esotropia)
- If light is shined on the medial side of the pupil the eye will deviate outward (exotropia)
RESULTS
- Recorded as Intact or Impaired
